Not OLO but definitely Fresh and Fruity and available now Watermellon  Recently I was given a Watermellon purchased from "Saves A Lot" in Lock Haven, PA.  Now I prefer homegrown but must admit it was so sweet and delicious I just had to tell you all about it.  Watermelon can be and is grown all around PA.  It is such a fresh fruit, especially on a hot, humid day.  What can you do with Watermellon?  How about Watermelon Fire and Ice Salsa ,  Or perhaps something cool to drink  Watermelon and Strawberry Lemonade . JULY 2020  and Cherries  It is hard to not become disillusioned with the World today!  It feels like nothing will be right again, but this planet has survived a long time, and we must keep the faith. For now, let's think about Cherries.  There are not many this year but in years past --- Are they not gorgeous?  Yep OLO did have cherries, just not this season. Happy Earth Day 2021 from  Our Little Orchard  Yes, it is Earth Day 2021, and what a great way to honor the day by checking out some more pictures from OLO: These are a couple taken from Pegs, my BIG sister, and Mrs. Pyle's second-floor window.  Just to give you an idea of how large the zion orchard location is. They cover cherries and pea ches.  You might also catch a glimpse of some pear trees.     As we all know, the apples are just starting to blossom, but they will be outstanding, weather providing.   Chris Pyle is the owner and worker bee when it comes to getting ready for the upcoming seasons.  Here are just a couple of his tools of the trade. A picking ladder is a must.  Unlike your household ladders, it has a single leg on one side to fit into the tree.
