Over the last several months I've learned a lot about OLO (Our little Orchard) and I must say when the weather turns warmer I'll be making a visit to the place I've read so much about!

I will be ready to enjoy some "fresh and fruity"!

It has been a long and ruff time since my last blog post, but like the rest of the world, we are starting to see some changes for the good.  Here are a few shots to brighten your day from OLO:                                                       Spring Flowers are a sure sign of hope. Yes, those who know OLO may recognize the corner of the fruit display building along with the magnificent Yellow Plumtree.  As the lucky sister, I have gotten to see it in person, and if the weather holds out, all those flowers will turn into delicious and yummy yellow plums. How about some Watermelon

Not OLO but definitely Fresh and Fruity and available now Watermellon  Recently I was given a Watermellon purchased from "Saves A Lot" in Lock Haven, PA.  Now I prefer homegrown but must admit it was so sweet and delicious I just had to tell you all about it.  Watermelon can be and is grown all around PA.  It is such a fresh fruit, especially on a hot, humid day.  What can you do with Watermellon?  How about Watermelon Fire and Ice Salsa ,  Or perhaps something cool to drink  Watermelon and Strawberry Lemonade . Or a  Watermelon Cooler Slushy   Maybe something more of a meal  Watermelon Summer Salad These are all delicious-looking recipes, and there are many more if you search for them.   Stay Fresh and Stay Fruity

Fresh and Fruity
