The University District Farmers Market will be open on 4/25/20

The people of Seattle seemed to be doing a great job of public distancing. It seems to be the best sign in an environment where most news is dishearting at best. 






This gives me great hope.  My wish is that it does for all of you. 

Seattle like everywhere is being hit hard by the coronavirus.

Like, everyone, they are striving to provide outlets for their residents

Happy Earth Day 2021 from  Our Little Orchard  Yes, it is Earth Day 2021, and what a great way to honor the day by checking out some more pictures from OLO: These are a couple taken from Pegs, my BIG sister, and Mrs. Pyle's second-floor window.  Just to give you an idea of how large the zion orchard location is. They cover cherries and pea ches.  You might also catch a glimpse of some pear trees.     As we all know, the apples are just starting to blossom, but they will be outstanding, weather providing.   Chris Pyle is the owner and worker bee when it comes to getting ready for the upcoming seasons.  Here are just a couple of his tools of the trade. A picking ladder is a must.  Unlike your household ladders, it has a single leg on one side to fit into the tree. Very helpful to get to those hard-to-reach fruits.                                 ...

Looking forward to visiting...

Over the last several months I've learned a lot about OLO (Our little Orchard) and I must say when the weather turns warmer I'll be making a visit to the place I've read so much about! I will be ready to enjoy some "fresh and fruity"!
